1. EnergyAudit
    The Energy Audit System is aimed to provide the accountability for energy in each administrative boundary like zones, circles, divisions & sub division and monitoring of Network assets of power distribution utilities.
  2. Meter Data Acquisition System The Meter Data Acquisition System (MDAS) is intended to remotely collect the data from various energy meters (i.e. Feeder meters, DT meters, HT consumer meters and selected LT consumer meters) using a communication system so that the high-quality data can be used for billing and MIS reporting purpose. The system meets the requirement of trend analysis & historical data management, creating baseline data for establishing & controlling AT&C losses. The system supports the data acquisition from meters of various make and fitted with different ports, e.g. RS-485 and RS-232.
  3. New Connection
    The new connection module encapsulates the life cycle of business processes catering to the customer’s requests for new connection, load extension/reduction, name change or meter shifting, etc. These processes are based upon multi level approval system, which results into the time lag occurred in supporting physical document flow at each level. The system allows the online application submission and is equipped with a document management system that enables the scanning of the physical documents. Each Case process initiated in the system is allocated a unique identification number that can then be used by the customer, and internally by MVVNL, to track the status of the application.
  4. Metering
    Metering module will provide MVVNL with facility to measure the accuracy of data collected by Meter Data Management System. The data collected from the meter device will reside in the Meter data acquisition system and will be validated across a set of rules and parameters defined in Rule Engine. Rule Engine will include a list of Validation, Estimation and Editing (VEE) techniques, which will ensure the implementation of business rules and validation. This module provides a complete test history for every uniquely identified device maintained within the system, including information about repairs and changes made to the devices. Users can link several tests together, including incoming and outgoing tests.
  5. Billing
    The billing system will allow MVVNL to bill their customers for the services rendered to them.  It covers the functions related to generation, printing and issuance of bills to the consumers. The generation of bills will be based on the billing logic. This module will facilitate detection of meter tampering cases, bill amendments, penal billing for unauthorized use of electricity, link consumers with appropriate tariff and generate monthly reports. This module also keeps track of every customer contact and manages the premise and service point information that defines where the utility service is supplied. The online browser interface displays all of this information to any authorised user.
  6. Collections
    This module provides consumers the facility of making payment on the bills generated through different payment channel like cash, cheque, bank draft, credit card, debit card, internet payment gateway and net banking over the Web Portal. It also enables daily reconciliation of cash collected and captures all bank remittance details. The Credit and Collections module is robust enough to completely automate and optimise the collection, severance, write-off, and ancillary processes related to this important operation area. The Credit and Collections module is made up of a series of automated processes that monitors and automatically creates and cancels collection processes based on the customer’s account information and the collection rules or control information established in the system.
